Almost 1 in 2 Slovak drivers admits that they are “in their bubble” while driving!
The VINCI Autoroutes Foundation for Responsible Driving publishes the results of the 10th driving barometer.
The VINCI Autoroutes Foundation has published the results of the European 2020 barometer on responsible driving. An extensive survey was conducted by the Ipsos Institute on 12,400 people in 11 European countries to assess the behaviour and perceptions of Europeans behind the wheel. It makes it possible to monitor the development of risk behaviour and best practices in order to help guide the preventive measures in each country.
Summary of the main findings
- 16% of European drivers admit that they feel more nervous, impulsive or more aggressive / 15% of Slovak drivers
- 55% of European drivers admit that they sometimes scold other drivers / 42% of Slovak drivers (-1 point compared to 2019);
- 33% of drivers intentionally stick to a vehicle that annoys them / 25% of Slovak drivers (+2);
- 84% of European drivers are afraid of another driver’s aggressive behaviour / 85% of Slovak drivers (+1).
