Project representatives including the shareholders VINCI Highways and Meridiam unveiled a new brand identity of the R1 expressway stretch at todays ceremony. Reflecting the growth and future vision of the project, while remaining connected to its roots honouring the original name with historical heritage.

The new, more dynamic visual captures the modern approach adopted across all layers of the project. It bears the title Via and Pribina, paying respects to Prince Pribina, the 9th century ruler. Prince Pribina´s significant achievements include the building of the first Christian church on Slavic territory in town of Nitra, the starting point of the 52km expressway Via Pribina.
