Via Pribina Foundation 2025 Grant Results
As part of the Via Pribina Foundation’s 2025 Grant Call, 112 organizations from across Slovakia submitted their projects. Of those, 21 organizations will receive a grant. The total amount allocated to support the successful grantees reached €235,686, with individual projects eligible for funding of up to €15,000.
Based on the number of organizations supported, the most active regions were:
- Bratislava (BA) – 10 projects
- Prešov (PO) – 9 projects
- Banská Bystrica (BB) – 8 projects
The 2025 grants are going to be used to support a wide range of initiatives. The main areas include:
- Health care and rehabilitation, such as neurorehabilitation and paediatric rehabilitation for children
- Support for vulnerable and marginalised groups, including homeless people and those in palliative care
- Inclusive education and creativity development for children and young people
- Provision of basic needs such as hot meals and sanitation
- Mental health and therapeutic support, especially for families in crisis or social isolation
In this way, grant funding helps to improve the living conditions, dignity and opportunities for people across the country, particularly in the areas of health, education and social services.
The Via Pribina Foundation was established in 2012 by the companies involved in the Via Pribina expressway project, a section of the R1 connecting Nitra and Tekovské Nemce, and also includes the northern bypass of Banská Bystrica. Via Pribina highway is 51.6km long.
