TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – R1 Via Pribina

Maintenance works will continue in the coming days on the R1 Via Pribina highway as part of the ongoing heavy maintenance campaign, which will require temporary traffic restrictions.

• Tekovské Nemce – North rest area
partial closure for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 t
13 May 2026 from 7:00 a.m. – 17 May 2026 until 12:00 p.m.

• Nitra – East and Beladice interchanges
temporary closures
18 May 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 23 May 2026 until 8:00 p.m.

The resurfacing works are part of this year’s extensive heavy maintenance campaign, which began on 8 April 2026 and will continue over the coming weeks. Overall completion of the works is scheduled for June 2026.

Through efficient major maintenance, we continue to improve the quality and safety of the R1 Via Pribina expressway.
